1. Why choose
a Professional Cat and/or House Sitter?
Your pet will remain in familiar
surroundings keeping routines as normal as possible and
reducing the stress level of your pet.
Most insurance companies require
that if you will be away for four consecutive days, someone
must visit the premises at least once every 48 hours.
By using our services there is
no need to impose on friends or family.

2.What happens if I am delayed
in returning home from my business trip or vacation?
Inform us of your delay as soon as possible
so that we can continue caring for your pets and your house
until you return home.
3. Why do I have to contact Cat
and House Sitting Services when I return home?
Until we get that call or e-mail from
you, we will continue to visit your home for safety reasons.
This way you do not need to worry if you are delayed or the
trip is extended for any reason.
4. Can a friend or neighbour share
the visit responsibilities?
Shared responsibility can create confusion
such as over-feeding, missed feedings, unlocked doors or lost
keys. We cannot be responsible for any sitting assignments where
others are going to share the workload.
5. How does billing work?
An invoice will be left with you at the
end of the visits. Payment is due upon receipt and can be made
by cash or cheque (payable to Shirley Armstrong). We also accept
Interac
Email transfers.
6. What happens if I need to cancel
or reschedule?
Please let us know as soon as possible
and we will make every effort to accommodate you.
7. How do you structure your fees?
Our main expense is travel time and the
time we spend at your house. For this reason our standard cat
and house sitting charge is $17 per visit.. If you have more
than four cats or a special situation we can discuss the fee.
8. Why do you suggest regular customers
keep their keys with Cat and House Sitting Services?
It makes it much easier for future assignments.
All you have to do is call or e-mail to let us know the dates
you would like us to cover and we will get back to you regarding
availability. Furthermore, there is no need to worry about key
drop off or pick up.
As well, in emergency situations, you
simply call us and we are ready to take care of your house and
cats.
9. Can you provide updates on how
our cats and/or house are doing?
If you provide us with an e-mail address,
we would be more than happy to provide you with a regular update
on your pet’s progress. If you prefer, you are more than
welcome to call or e-mail us at your convenience.
10. Do you visit cats that need
medication?
We will gladly administer insulin injections
as well as oral medications. We must discuss medications with
you before we commit.
11. What happens if there is a
medical emergency with my cat when I am away?
We will try to contact you first before
making any decisions. If we cannot reach you we will take your
cat to its regular vet.
12. Do you provide dog sitting
services?
We do not provide a dog sitting service;
however, we can recommend an excellent kennel at www.acclobo.com.

Yes, a certificate of insurance is available
upon request.

We have been doing this since 1999 and
a number of our clients who have been with us for some time
are quite happy to furnish references upon request.
15. What area do you service?
We service the city of London and the
area to the immediate north.
